I’ve tried quite a few clays and pomades over the years, but this Matte Clay is easily my favorite. It gives me the perfect amount of hold without any of the greasy shine or crunch I’ve gotten from other products. My hair looks natural, feels clean, and actually stays in place all day. Plus is smells amazing.
What really impressed me, though, is the customer service (Shoutout to Andrea). They were quick to respond and genuinely helpful when I had a question about my order.

5 Stars – Because My Husband’s Hair Has No Business Looking That Good
I don’t use Knuckle Draggers Matte Clay myself unless you count stealing a whiff of it every time my husband walks by like a shampoo commercial in slow motion. But let me tell you, this stuff works.
My husband applies it in about three seconds, doesn’t even look in the mirror (men, right?), and somehow ends up with hair that looks professionally styled, but still rugged like he just chopped wood shirtless and then casually ran his fingers through his hair once.
The hold is great, the finish is matte (no greasy used-car salesman vibes), and it lasts all day even through dad duties, sweat, and whatever mysterious “errands” he’s doing in the garage.
Basically, Knuckle Draggers turned my husband from “just rolled out of bed” to “should probably be in a Levi’s ad,” and I’m not mad about it.
Ladies, get it for your man. Men, get it for yourself. Your hair and your significant other will thank you.
This stuff is great!! The smell is wonderful and the hold is superb. I can confirm that this stuff will hold your hair perfectly in place while crowd surfing at pop punk concerts or dancing at a Billy Strings show. This should be your go to pomade!
